The Jewish Lublin disappeared before the eyes of one generation. Moreover, the increasing number of young people walking today in the streets of the Old town -such Kowalska street, Furmanska street, Cyrulicza street , Lubartowska street are totally unaware of their history. They know nothing of the bustling throng that filled them before the WW II and the darkness and fear reigning there during occupation.
A year ago , the Museum of Lublin acqired a rich collection of unknown wartime photographs showing the destruction of the Jewish quarter. This pictures are available at the present publication.
